Well I went down to my favorite White Oak tree on Friday evening and settled in for the first hunt of the year, I had checked the spot out two days previous and nothing was dropping as of then, but Friday would be different it looked like a barnyard under it smothered with droppings and caps! I shot two does for the freezer that evening and got down to do a little scouting in the area I was taken back by the lack of buck sign very few rubs and no scrapes at all, usally this time of year I find alot of both. But I went back this evening and shazaaam I found a scrape line with scrapes every thiry yards leading from a known bedding area and they were BIG and muddy in the middle! Looks like it is time to investigate this a little more in person! Good luck to everyone that is out this magical time of year!
