Hey how many are shooting one of these hybrid longbows and what do you think?
How long was your wait time??
Does it perform like you thought it would??

Plentycoupe,
I contacted A&H back in November to get on their list for a stock 3 piece ACS CX.  I found out last week that I am on the list to be contacted in Sept 07 to order a bow.  They are trying to fill all orders from those that placed inquiries since 2004.  I'd say they are catching up fast.

As far as performance goes, when my shoulder went bad, I couldn't pull my 45 # bow. Got a 30# longbow from OL, and couldn't believe how great it shot. Out to 30 yds, (3-D shoots) I shoot the SAME sight pics as I did with my 45# recurve.
The performqnce is incredible!

Best bow I have ever owned or shot and I have owned and shot a few of them!  From the first time I shot it, to everytime I pick it up after shooting another bow, I go WOW!!

I am on the same time slot as roknjs.  Contacted John in November also.  In the mean time, I bought an ACS CX with the aluminum riser off of ****.  I did have to give a couple hundred over new price for it but it is brand new and I have been trying to get my hands on one for 2 yrs.  The guy had never even strung it or shot it.  Said he was in a money crunch but I think he was trying to double his money on it.  This bow was only 2 weeks old when I got it.  It is 62" long and 52# at my 29" draw.  It shoots a 590 gr arrow at 173 fps.  Plenty of speed for me and I can shoot this bow much better than any I have owned.  It basically allowed me to drop 8-9 lbs draw weight and still have the performance I was looking for. Great bow and looking forward to having 2 of them!

Got my first one 6 weeks ago and the second one is due this month. I put my name on the list 3+ years ago and pretty much forgot about it. Is it worth it and the wait? Are they really that good? Naw- they're actually a bit better! My used-to-be-great- bows are now for sale.
