my first trad buck
« on: October 27, 2009, 10:46:00 PM »
i shot this deer like two weeks ago, Iwas in my stand and herd something behind me wich is odd cause my wind was blowin right to them first was a lil 8 point to the edge of his ears the another that had a kicker on his then this fella walked out at 19yds i had a hard time drawing back cause the first 8 was at like 9yds and keep looking at me but never realy spooked and the other went into some brush and never saw him till the shot but all in all i have to say this is my best deer to date a nd ranks right up there with my very first deer ever    :archer:

Way to go!
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.
