« on: April 06, 2007, 09:06:00 PM »
Ok most on here know I love to make stuff. Well been making CheatR knives for awhile. Well got me a big ole saw mill blade and started making knives from it. Most also know I like to name the stuff I make LOL. Thus here they are Resurrected Blades. These are my first ones.I really gotta thank Jeremy, Highpockets and Tippit and a few more for all there help. I got a longway to go to get anywheres near as good as them a many others but Ya gotta start somewhere.Next to trad archery knives are great. Thanks<><

Since I can't Pm this to you Frank I have to ask. Did you do this on purpose? Resurection Knives, you made three(a trinity) and it's Easter weekend. I'd name them from top to bottom, Father, Son and Spirit. Too much coincidence for me.

Out of all the knives I've seen you post Frank, I'd have to say that middle one is the purtiest. The blade and handle seem to balance just right in the pic. You must have been able to make you a file guide by the looks of it!!

Wow, superb work!

Carbon steel knives have much more feel than stainless!
What is the handle material on the smaller skinner? Mastodont ivory?

Well done Frank!

Here's a few more I took with a closer view of that beautiful sunburst orange swirl & detailed grain. But in no way close to Tippit's background...

I was impressed when Frank brought this one in, it has such a nice balance to it as Kenny said and beautiful lines.
I usually don't post for him but I had to add these pics and comments. I'm his biggest fan!    :D

No file guide Kenny. I wish I had one. Guys the pics really make the knives look better then they are. Like I said a long way to go. Not trying to make a blade that shines like a new penny. I like the ones like tippit makes that look kinda like they are from the 1800s ya know? Manny thats just plain ole antler. I like trying to make it look like something other then antler. Shell loves almost ever knife I make( she has to she's my wife!) I know cuz she snags them and hides them on me.Thanks guys.<><

Frank, I'm right there with ya man. I really like blades that are made to look like they are from the later days. Don't sell your self short.
Those blades came out nice! I've been lookin every time you throw on a handfull up for sale on the classifieds. I just haven't seen one that jumps out at me since the one I pm'ed ya about but was already sold. I'll get me one yet. Nice work as always.
I reckon so
