Walt... Vance called day before yesterday and he was in town to warm up. Said he'd never make fun of midwestern temperatures again... cold and humidity.

So far he's passed on some iffy shots, but no turkey on the ground yet.

We went down to Texas last week to pick up an airplane, so while there decided to get in a pig hunt with some friends down by Austwell.  Other than the mosquitos, it was great.  This boar hit the scales right at 200, and a friend got one that went 240.
So don't wait until you retire to go hunting and fishing.  Don't even wait for your annual vacation.  Go at every opportunity.  Things that appear urgent at the moment may, in the long run, turn out to be far less so.
