Dang, I can only hope my Surewood shafts can come marginally close to how yours do! Beautiful arrows!      :clapper:

58Winters, they are definitely not in the barbed category.

Doug, I will try my best to introduce one of these babies to a blacktail buck this month! I am positive they will be up to the task!

Hi Bjorn, it's getting to feel like blacktail season up here! The rains have quieted down the woods. The bucks are following does...game on!

Snakewood3 I did round off and slightly taper the shafts where they join the broadhead. I didn't taper as much as some do. I didn't want to provide a weak spot in the transition from shaft to head. By shooting into a broadhead target I am really impressed in their penetration. The only time I think there could be a problem is if it hit a rib dead on and split the rib perfectly in two. Then you would want as little resistance as possible. This is very low odds of happening. All the deer I have killed with a bow I have hit rib and deflected off of them and went in between them for complete pass through or near to it. I have confidence that these arrows will do the same.

Thanks for the comments. Hopefully there will be pics to follow!

I just remembered mine are on low spined shafts so maybe I'll have to break some out for MY Oregon trip too!  I had zero problems so far with split shafts on trade points on cedars.  I wrapped mine with dacron serving and soaked with superglue.

Those sure are the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I think I would like to know more about those heads and how to get my hands on a few  :)

Some animal should be proud to die being hit with an arrow that pretty.

That's what I was thinking Centaur. That big ol' buck will probably just stand there and take it because it is the finest arrow and head he has seen...        :biglaugh:

Killdeer, I hope to place one of these arrows cleanly through a buck.  If this happens I will be thanking the Lord and giving thanks to you and Doug for your contributions.
