Yes, voted for Connie. Didn't know you could do it more than once.
If it's in your way, move it.

Everyone,

I got a note from Connie today--all the contestants got the following from the contest people:

I was hoping not to have to deal with the issue of cheating, but accusations have recently come to my attention. I sure hope you are all urging your friends and family to vote for you ONE time and ONE time only.

The on-line voting is set up so only one vote can be registered from each IP address (Internet Protocol which is a number assigned your computer when you log on via your internet provider). Yes, sometimes when you log on your internet provider may provide a new IP address, thus you can vote again.  That said, anyone on a network computer system will find that if someone in the system has already voted they can't vote. I tell folks who complain to go home and vote on their personal computer.

I would urge each and every one of you to promote a fair contest. If I can substantiate anyone participating in the promotion of additional voting or cheating they will be disqualified — no questions asked

The goal of this contest is to promote women in hunting and, hopefully, get more woman (and kids) involved in the sport. As the son of a long time outdoor writer, the outdoor heritage is paramount in my life. With it has come a traditional lifestyle which includes being honest and respecting others.

Let's not give our efforts a black eye due to someone's greed.

So, you can see how important it is for all of you to send out an e-mail to all your friends and family.  We want Connie to win fair and square and that will be the only way we can get it done.  Take five minutes to put the link out there to your address book   :campfire:

Good luck Connie.
Just to let you all know what a class act she is. Ten years ago while we were still living in Colorado my daughter who was 8 yrs. old at the time was dealing with classmates who was telling her she was wierd. Only because all she wanted to do with her time after school was shoot her recurve and talk about being able hunt when she became of the age that she could do so legally. She would cry telling her mother and I about this. At our annual club banquet my wife was sharing this with Connie and she took it upon herself to come over and talk to my daughter and encouraged her to follow her dreams. Needless to say my daughter was beamimg from ear to ear and came running to me explaining that she knew nothing was wrong with her and that she was going to keep on shooting and hunt when she got old enough. When Horn Hunter stated her being a class act, I could not agree more with his statement. Her and Gary both are top knotch individuals and great represenatives of our sport. God Bless you Connie my vote is for you.

Keep it fresh and up top, Get all your buds to join in and vote.
Thanks for cluing us in Mr. Fischer.
p.s. maybe the multi-vote posts should be edited by the poster. I just thinking it would be a shame to get a class act like Connie DQ'd

this is getting closer than I thought it would when we first started. Got the wife going to give her vote for Connie.
