Bow comparison
«

I don't shoot a lot of bows. I own a Martin Hunter, Kodiak Magnum, an old Skakespeare, and Great Northern Ghost. I have hunted exclusively with the Ghost for the last 13 years or so. I will be ordering a lighter bow this winter and was wondering how the Shrew bows compare with the Ghost. I realize many bow qualities are subjective but would like to hear from hunters who have hunted with both Shrew and Great Northern. Thanks in advance.

Not enough difference to throw a blanket over as far as performance goes; but the riser is different...forward of the limbs more than the Ghost, so the feel and shooting characteristics are different. Both fine bows and both perform pretty well 8^).

Go to Kalamazoo in January and shoot both. Only you can make the call on what feels right in your hand.
