Don't forget to...

Practice!

When Archery Deer and Turkey season opens, all my spare time is consumed by hunting.  Spend 30 minutes in the back yard touching up your skills every so often to keep sharp!

The reason I posted this, was that I did just that today (for the first time in quite a while).  Even a dear friend like my Schafer recurve can get cantankerous if you neglect him.  Shooting a blunt on the way to your stand helps too, but I need some repitition to make sure everything is still grooving.

I have to remind myself every year to shoot a few rounds on days I can't hunt.  Don't head out to the woods with dull broadheads -OR- dull skills.

People don't shoot every day to get that well deserved "me time" as a way to  un-whined and be able to have quality time to listening to the wife and how your evening is scheduled?
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don’t have that problem.
