Root Bows?

Any Root Archery experts out there.  Need info on dating some bows.

Not an expert, but I inherited one from my Dad. He bought it in around 1966. Serial# is J7470. It is 66"/38#@28". As I remember a friend of his ordered it from a catalog. I think a very good looking recurve. I shot it in a hunter's league a few years ago, but otherwise not used too much because of the weight.

Not an expert but I owned one in the 60s.  Beautiful bow with contrasting light and dark wood in the sight window, green glass.
