Has anyone used the large Abowyer boneheads?
« on: November 11, 2009, 03:22:00 PM »
I read one post where it was felt they did not torque as well as a head that is more narrow, but 1 1/2 in diameter would be nice.

They still torque through but as i mention in another thread i would use the small width ones on anything bigger than whitetails, its a vary wide head an cutting a lot of meat. The  10pter i shot through the hams you could see the rotation in the wound canal i could put 3 fingers in the slice. This shot was due to a  deflection from a unseen twig. Perfect hits no problems i`m shore, but things happen when hunting. I do luv the blade quality in these heads an plan on using them alot. Check out the other thread...Good heads
