Ok. I got out to the woods and in my stand at 6:00 this morning. The deer have been coming thru about 5 minutes after legal shooting light and catching me off guard. So this morning I decided I will be in position and ready.
Five minutes after legal shooting light I here crunch crunch of him walking down the trail.
He stepped out at about 6 or 7 yards, I let him walk past for a quartering away shot, burnt a hole thru him, drew anchored and released.
The arrow went exactly were I was looking.
Pass thru shot, the arrow went in about 4 ribs from the back took out both lungs and just nicked the heart.
Blasted thru the off side shoulder.
The deer ran about 45 yards and piled up.
Man those spider bites are deadly.
