is that thing painted on a block of cement, wow those are some tough arrows, well I guess you would need a 2000 grain arrow shooting at those things...

The target is painted on some type of foam that is manufactured around here. I've heard it is for astro-turf, but I'm not sure. Shedhunter (Ron Bergeron) told me about a sporting goods store by him that had it available. We picked up a trailer load for an indoor range we had to make for a customer. Lost Nation might have some too. You see a lot of kids using it for float/rafts.

I used Grizzlystik shafts last year with great results. I'm using Beman MFX shafts this year. Jack from Zwickey made us up some prototype heads that worked great last year and I'll use them again this time.

Terry, Needless to say I've wintered well and am now ready to butcher.

It's cool to see the great smiles that accompany the majority of the photos on this site!

Denny, I like the look of that quiver.

Denny, remember when I was trying to stop you from using what I call the San Fransisco release (limp wrist)?  From the pictures you posted at the beginning of this thread it looks like you've finely got it right.        :clapper:

Now I've got to work on BC down on the end of the line using the "Sumo" squat     :D

Terry, even the Jolly Green Giant can't stand up to a well placed arrow.     :biglaugh:

Ron, I've always strived to let the "release" just happen - a surprise almost.

I might have exaggerated that release in the pic above because I was trying to give the joker behind me a shot to the head.  :)

As is obvious in the picture    :readit:  you're the one that got the shot to the head when I slapped you for using that F@g release.    :knothead: ....   :bigsmyl:

Denny, there are a few seconds of your buffalo hunt on the Masters of the Barebow DVD. Did you plan to make a a full DVD of that hunt? It would be nice, also to see Dale Karch hunting, too.

pucci, Dale and I shot all four buffalo on video and have awesome support footage, but I don't know if we would sell enough to justify the time and $ it would take to produce a first class DVD.

Ron, All kidding aside, I took something home and put it to use from all of you masters. It was an honor to video and hang out with you folks. You all made the project what it is.
