I use the selway.  It is safe and easy for any bow.  I can't imagine that there is a better one out there.

For some reason, I just cannot use the Selway. Even trying to string a 40# bow has been nearly impossible. It's like you have to put twice the pressure of a regular stringer on the bow to bend the limbs. I gave up. I have a fantastic stringer that perfectly fits my Howatt Hunter and 76ers and I bought the 3Rivers stringer and cut the top cup to fit the pointed tips on my Deathmaster. It fits perfectly. I'd like to figure out the Selway, but I have an old back injury and don't want to aggravate it.

I really don't like the limb tip stringers for a curve.  Especially a static like ours.  The Selway recurve stringers are much safer and not so prone to twisting as the limb tip ones.

Selways are fairly inexpensive at Kustom King or 3 rivers and will last for years.

We send one out with every curve we sell.

I agree.  Never could bring myself to trust those two tiny little cups holding on to the very tip of the bow limb.

Gotta go with the Webster, at least for the bow I'm currently using. I'd defer to Mike on the Staic tip issue however.        Grant
