Hoyt Dorado, 60", 45# @ 28". I understand they are usually 5# heavier than marked? Can anyone verify this? I pull 29" and want aluminum shaft that will be 29.5 BOP and would like to shoot 135gr - 150gr up front.

I would say IMO a 2016 or a 1916 they always work for me around that weight I have noticed its very easy to get good arrow flight out of these bows good luck hope this helps!

if you want to shoot carbons, the beamen ics hunter/bowhunter 400 with 150 up front at your specified length with fly like darts. You can also add 50g brass inserts for a finished arrow wt of around 490g for a super deadly combo from your setup! Just my few cents!! I shoot a very similar setup from my Hoyt gamemaster with the 45lb limbs. It shoots 52lbs at my 29" draw.

My Dorado is marked 45@28 and is right on the money. The only way you'll know is to put it on a scale. At my draw I get 48#@29 and shoot Gold Tip 3555 or 2016 out of it. Shot a bear in Maine with it this fall and had great performance. Bear was down in 35 yards on a dead run (pun not actually intended). The head was a Zwickey 2 blade.
