Kansas City, MO Buck Down
« on: November 15, 2009, 10:11:00 PM »
Shot this guy on the 12th. At first I thought he just grew a small weird side, but after I shot him I realized that he broke off just above the base and all that was left was the non-typical point on that side. It look like he had broken it off late in velvet.

Super nice!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Looks like Burnsey is shooting a Martin Hunter. He must have gone down in weight due to his aging shoulder :-)  :jumper:

I shot it with my Silvertip as usual, but I was driveing my little Kia car when I shot him. I had to swap it for a friends truck to get the deer home. My Silvertip was in my car at my buddies house. I didn't have much light left for pictures so I grabbed the old Howatt for the photo. Not being prepared almost always garentees success!!
