I think more "SMALLISH" trophys are shot than the big ones that we all would like to have a crack at. Thats a nice buck! CONGRATS! Thanks for the video. Did I hear you say your NINTH deer of the season?

Agree with joe ashton....He is too, a trophy, and I will argue that point with anyone.  That's a beautiful deer.

PS...I love the way you tell the story, that was very well done.

Great job Chris!  Thanks for sharing the video!  Did you shoot him with a land shark or a tree shark?

Shot him with a TreeShark.  I don't know if you noticed, but you can actually see the broadhead during the slow motion scene.  I thought that was pretty cool.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice replies.  I appreciate it.

Chris,

Great video and nice looking buck.  He is great.

How did you video the hunt. Did you have the camera on a mounted tripod device or what?

Great clarity on the camera as well.  You can relive that hunt as many times as you want by watching that video.  That is cool.

Hey Chris, here's a picture of my setup.  I have a 6" hinge bolted to the front of my stand. It folds up for packing. The mount is just a standard tripod with the legs removed. I had a fab shop weld a piece of bar stock in the bottom of the tube, and it's drilled and tapped for the 1/4" carriage bolt. It ain't fancy, but it works.
