Jerry's Mule deer
« on: November 18, 2009, 10:26:00 PM »

Well my hunting Jerry Bowen just sent me a picture of a nice Mule deer he took today in Colorado with the bow I made him this fall. The buck will net 160 the bow is a sinew and rawhide backed osage bow 54'' long 54@28.
Makes ya proud when someone uses your bows,
Mike

You should be proud Mike. That is a dandy bow, and Jerry took a nice deer with it. I'd love to try one of your bows some day.

I'd be proud too Mike.  How far was his shot on that mule deer?

Great buck and I really admire the look of your bows.  Evidently they do a good job of putting a thumping on game too.
