mosquito repellent??
« on: November 19, 2009, 03:14:00 PM »
what else works as well as a therma cell for mosquito repellent? I don't want to have anything that smells and I don't want the mosquitos bugging me!

Staying in the house works great. The Therma cell is the best deal it's permithium and that is supposed to be something plants give off.Try SAWYERS I buy it for ticks and chiggers and it helps with the mosquito's as well.

difference in the world, but the Marines don’t have that problem.

Therma cell has very little odor and if they smell it they would have smelled you anyway.

Hogs, deer, nor bears have ever been bothered by my Thermacell--they did however, not care for my broadhead    :bigsmyl:

thermacelll if skeeters are bad.  if its just 1 or 2 I have a couple small pump spray bottles of cutter that dries up clean and fast. works for about 30 minutes.

This is one of those threads where you are looking for a better "mouse trap" than the therma cell and there just isn't one.

Im with RC i cant believe i hunted all those years in the bottom lands of south Alabama without a thermacell. These suckers we have down here look just like a stealth jet comming in for landing.
