Mickey you're killing me!  I had a hen come right up to my decoy Saturday morning but the Tom that was following her wouldn't get into a shooting lane.  Watched for about 20 minutes trying to wish him into range.

Hey Mick...Those toms still hanging around and the season starts in two weeks.  Thought you said they disappear two weeks before the season.  Maybe that bunch hanging around this year can't read a calendar...or maybe this weird weather has got them screwed up.  Maybe you'll get a crack at them this year.

Put little signs up in the woods that say Turkey Season Cancled...maybe that will do the trick.

I sure do enjoy your pictures!

Awesome again Mr. Lotz.  I was out scouting today for an upcoming turkey adventure.  I kept thinking of your pics and wondering if the birds were still in your yard.  I wish I'd had your camera with me as I saw a big black tom with his head so white it was scary.  He was strutting in an area that was burned last week.  When he would turn in the sun there would be an explosion of irridescent color in the middle of the charcoal landscape.  Very cool birds!

Mickey, You're sure stoking the fire for the season with pics like that!  Hope they hang around for you this year.  I have 12 more days before I hope to see a sight like that in front of me

So far today I have only seen 1 lone hen and that was just a few minuets ago.

Not to worry guys I have lots of pics and will post one a day until turkey season is over for your enjoyment.

Mickey, the only one I want to see is one with a cane through it! JK. It's cool that they get that close to the house. I had a doe and twins eating apples from last fall about 20 ft from my front door this morning when I let the dogs out. Can you say Chinese Fire Drill? LOL I guess I should look first.

it was sent to me in a email.  I saved in on the hard drive.  I then uploaded it to Photobucket and then added to the reply just like a pic.  I think you need this as your avater.  glad you liked it.
