Aluminum arrow selection help please for my Kodiak
«

I have a 64 Kodiak and would like to try aluminums out of it.I purchased the bow from Steve Smith (bearbowman)Steve told me it scales out at 49# but the bow is marked 45#.I have a 26 1/2 draw and was wondering what aluminum shaft to try.I was wondering if 2016 will work.
Thanks for the advice,
David

The 2016 will work if you let the arrows 28". The 64 Kodiaks are great shooting bows by the way, probably one of the top in the Bear line.
Just minimize contact with the shelf/plate area with those 2016 arrows and use 145 grain heads for best flight at that length. A 1916 would probably be a little easier to setup for off the shelf shooting. I use a stick on rest like the Bear Weatherest on my bows.
