Bobcat with the longbow!

Shot from my treestand at 8 yards. While she was doing the cat walk on top of a stone wall.

WOW she is a nice one congratulations.

Its hard to get a good mount done on cats. They all seem to have a "that's not where that goes"  :eek:  look to them.

What are your plans for this pelt?

I got lucky while hunting from my deer stand. I had missed a nice eight point the night before but hit the spot on her no problem. Go figure. This is actually the fifth bobcat I've seen while in the woods over the years but the first to kill. Not much of a story, all of a sudden she was there. From the first sighting to the shot was less than four or five seconds. Sparks flew as the arrow contacted the stones and she jumped about 7 feet in the air, landed let out alittle scream and never moved.

I plan on a full mount not sure of the position yet.
