Broke in my new Shrew this morning

This little 56" Classic Hunter is my new go to bow.
I took this buck from my favorite cedar stand. He was quartering pretty severe but the easton axis with a 225 magnus penetrated through the opposite shoulder.

Thanks guys! He wasn't the biggest buck in the woods(I saw a 160 class ten with split brow tines Nov 12 tending a doe) but I am grateful to be
able to take such a great animal. He was beat up pretty bad and has a couple busted tines on his left side.

I was in the Army at Fort Riley 1969/70. I was 21 years old and all I wanted to do was get out of Kansas and back to Pennsylvania. I bought a shotgun while out there and shot a mess of rabbits. After seeing the deer out there, I don't know if I should have been in such a hurry to leave.
Congrats. Beautiful buck.
