I am working to find an arrow that I can achieve 30% FOC with. I have a 30.25 inch draw length so I am finding it a bit tough.
Are there any experienced or knowledgeable folks who can help me with a couple questions. First question. Which tapered carbon shaft arrows would work best for a 55 lb reflex / deflex longbow for my 30.25 inch draw length?
I am trying to keep the weight under 650 grains and would like to keep my arrow weight around 600 grains to 650 grains.
I am already loading 275 grains up front and only getting 22.75% with Beman Bowhunter 500's. I am more than willing to add more weight up front to get the FOC. The question is with the tapered shafts at my draw length and weight. Which shafts will work with 275 to 400 grains up front.
Add in what is the lightest tapered carbon shaft on the market for my draw weight of bow.
