We're supposed to get a dusting of white stuff later today. I'm going to hunt the morning, before going over to the family feast.
Happy Thanksgiving!

My father inlaw and myself go every year. We have only got in trouble once. He shot a deer and we had to do some tracking and dragging. We showed up late and still hear about it. :D ....Roy

A large bull elk I know of has an appointment with a very sharp stick tomorrow morning. All he has to do is show up! All I have to do is pick a spot and pull thru the shot.

Supposed to rain on the right coast tomorrow afternoon, but I'm definitely going to be sitting in the stand come first light.
Have always had good luck (or at least tons of sightings) on Thanksgiving.
I once watched 11 separate bucks chase a lone hot doe over a 20 minute period a few Thanksgivings ago. Great show, but all were out of range. Made for a great memory.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Tomorrow will be the first Thanksgiving morning I havent hunted in many years and its not because I dont want to but I had surgery on my ankle last Friday and I havent hunted since and looks like I got a few more days before I can even consider it. Good luck to all who are going and best wishes for safety.

Every year with a close friend.......we'll hunt till about 9am, then it's off to his house for a good homecooked breakfast.....we've been doing it for 19 years now. Most years it's just him and I, tomorrow there will be five of us, should be interesting......all bows.

I'll be out in the morning. Cooler temps and a little rain, but it would be cool to bring home some venison on Thanksgiving. Something kinda special about it. Happy Thanksgiving and good luck.
