Iowa buck with57'Kodiak

I killed this buck this morning on my 50 acres with a 1957 Bear Kodiak ! No hero pictures yet.I'll post some soon.

WOW!  Very nice indeed!  With that mass and grey face he looks like an old guy.  Your '57 is much nicer than mine too!

Very cool, congratulations!!! One of these days I have to get my 57 out there in the field.
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

I agree with Felix. Love seeing Bear bows still getting the job done 50+ years after being built.

yeah he has some age and so does bow! ---- i love old bows have one myself / something very cool to look down at dads old bow while hunting / think of times he killed with it /i've killed wqith it  my brother has killed with it / its still beautiful /perfect and ready to kill again / the deer on the other hand well i bet he taste great in gravy drawers!
