Point tip and arrow spine
« on: December 01, 2009, 11:14:00 AM »
This may be a long shot, then again it may not.

I was curious as if anyone has a "rough" idea or chart on how much point weight would change arrow spine.

An example would be: assuming a 28" arrow (though probably not correct)

a 2016 arrow with a 125 head would be approximatley a 55 spine or 55lb bow

where as a 2016 with a 200 grain head would be an approximate 45 spine or 45 lb bow.

I do understand you need to tune your arrows to the bow you are shooting. I was just curious if anyone else put this into thought.

Any positive or negative comments are welcome.

Thanks,
James
