Thanks for the reminder! I might have forgotten otherwise.
Heh .... Fellow Trad Cheeseheads, Anyone have interest in going bunny hunting? Once we get some snow I was planning on checking out our local population.

Always interested in rabbits, we did one last year and there is one in the works for this year as well. There should be a thread here shortly!

Thanks for the reminder Joe. Had to check the DNR's web site to see if I had already done it. Yep, back in March when I bought my Patron's license. Good chance I might draw a bear permit next year.
Kevin: Keep us apprised. No reason we can't have two, three or more bunny hunts.

A bunch of guys from our local club have gotten together every winter for over 20 years for our "Annual Bunny Hunt"
It's always a blast. We have been going on Super Bowl Sunday and then when we are cold and pooped out from walking we have a pot luck at one of our houses and then watch the game.
Our highest total of bunnies was seventeen.
I will look and see what dates in Jan. & Feb I have open on my personal calendar.
Orion, how many points has it been taking to get a bear kill tag? I see I had 5pts and will now have 6.

I drew a Bear tag this year. I had 8 points.
Kevin, Are you refering to the DAM shoot? Last year I had a Bunny Romp in Jan. had over 30 people show up. This year will be having it around the same time.

Paul, Yes I was wondering if and when you would have the bunny romp again. I didn't want to schedule another bunny hunt on the same weekend.
I would like to come to the bunny romp if the date is open for me. I see you have the new Trad logo shirts available on your website now.....cool I just placed my order.

As a NR I get last pick in the lottery (as it should be) so I just wait and buy leftover OTC turkey tags. But now that you mentioned it, I should probably start putting in for a bear tag so I can get the preference points.
