Great thread, FB92. Gotta love those Bear bows.

BTW, I noticed you're in Jackson...I'm just down the road from you in Copiah County.

Take care,

Tal

Mr. Droptine Sir!
  :notworthy:

That is pretty wood on your '69 Grizz, Zachary.
Pics are a tad large, but that sure looks like a sweet shooter! Hmm...that was the year I got my Green Fox.  :)

Blue Moose, were you at the Lofton Classic Shoot in Grenada this year?        Killdeer, I don't know how to adjust the size. But, I figure bigger is better.....lol

Good grief! That bow is in  great  shape! Is that the original string, too?

killdeer thank you...that is the string that came with it.  I dont think its an original string though and i have replaced it.  I just purchased it a little over a month ago and is my first recurve.  I was surprised at the quality as well being that its so old.

fredbear92 yea its got a few dings here and there but all in all I am very pleased with the quality.

Just an aside, I have a Remington 581 .22 rifle with the same kind of grain in the wood. It is from about the same timeframe as your Tigercat. Maybe they shared the same supplier?

Yes, was there both days. Headed out tomorrow for the Howard Hill shoot @ Tannehill. That's a good one...most definitely worth the trip.

Some of you have seen this picture before. I like the old stuff and my favorites were the target bows.

Here’s two old statics.
Tamerlane
Kodiak
Polar
Tarter
Temejun
A Shakespeare and a Howat Palomar

I sold all of these to make room on the rack for my homemade stuff.

And this was my favorite. Can't beleive I let this one get away!!!

Here is a pic of the first deer I ever took with a bow, the year was 1976.  Bear Super Mag "48."

Sure wish I still had that bow...wish I still had that hair even more.
