(Grandma needs help) UPDATE w/Pics

Got these two little boys that live out in the country here in Iowa and their Grandma came to me since i'm the only Traditional archer she knows. Her little grandsons love to hunt and roam their little patch in the country sharing a fiberglass bow and sticks for arrows that they have about worn out. She was wondering if i knew where she could get a bow for them to use thats a little better, or possiblity their own stuff. What i need to know is what poundage a eight year old could use and poundage a 10 year old could use. Money is an issue for them, but not why i'm here. I will cover that. Just need info and if anyone knows where i can get maybe one or two is not being used before i go new for them. Does my heart good to see two little brothers hunting and sharing and wanting to go traditional at a early age.

Thanks Brothers. Don't know about a nice thing to do. But i feel it is the right thing to do, to keep the circle complete. I been blessed many times by others. And here's a chance to show a couple little kids and there folks that some people in this world are givers instead of takers. And Let the spirit of Trad Gang keep reaching out in these troubled times. I sent PM's. Not asking for handouts guys i would gladly pay you for these items.

Not sure if you've already gotten this advice, but I'm shooting with an eight year old boy who was having trouble drawing his fiberglass bow. (?20#?) I built him a pipe bow and he loves it.
PM me for directions (or do a search for pipe bow) and make them each one. Heck, even I like shooting them, and they're fun to make! The things are simple enough to make that you could involve the kids if you wanted to. Or don't and whip one up in less than an hour if you don't have little hands to watch out for.
They are very easy to make.

Mr. Vic you gotta be Da Man! You might be missing few deer,, reindeer that is but you're my kind of Santa no matter how it's cut. Thank you for caring.
It shows that you're traddicted and what a wonderful addiction to have.
God bless,Mudd
PS I stole the word "traddicted" from one of Jacobsladder's posts and I guarantee you that you will see me use it over and over in the future. It ranks right up there with Bob Barnes' signature "Hello, My name is Bob and I'm a BowAholic"
