Huntin Near Homosassa?
« on: December 06, 2009, 08:48:00 PM »
My family and I will be in the Homosassa, FL area around Christmas.  Is there any shooting/hunting opportunities in that area during that time of year?  I am not sure if I will have much time, but would like to try if at all possible.   :)

Wrong time of year for Tarpon up that way I think. Chassawhiska WMA is close by. Never hunted it myself but hear theres lots and lots of hogs. Pretty rough territory. Miles of salt marshes. If your interested in a guided hunt I can send you a link to a guide that comes highly recomended. Both for fishing and hunting.
Good luck
