Brian has a new bow !!
« on: December 07, 2009, 01:32:00 PM »
I received my new bow this weekend.  I wanted to share some pics.

She is a Buffalo Bow made by Big Jim.  47# @ 28”, 64”.  Zebra/Padauk riser, Zebra/Gabon Black Ebony spliced veneers over action-boo limbs with Gemsbok antler on the back of the beaver tail wrapped grip.  Big Jim makes one beautiful bow and it shoots every bit as good as it looks.

It is almost like being 18 years old and falling in love for the first time... all over again.

Thanks for posting pics Brian. I'm glad your enjoying the bow.
Guys, my web site has been down and I don't know if we will be able to get it working or not. We may have to build a new one. So for those interested in some pics, let me know and I will try to get some off to you.

Tnbuckskinner, I finished the sanding and weighed your bow. Came in at 57#. Put the coin in the riser. Tomorrow it may go to the spray room.
Thanks, Bigjim
