Last hour of the season
«
on:
December 08, 2009, 12:10:00 AM »
I shot this little antlerless tonight, shot him at 5:05 pm season was officially is over 5:25 pm. It was minus 29 degrees Celsius.
I was bit envious of the guy that posted pictures from his honey moon "hunting Hawaii" -then again i felt pretty lucky tonight.
He ran about 20 yards and stopped then stood for about 5 seconds before falling over, my arrow had passed through alittle far back, but i must have hit a main artery.

Congratulations! Way to hang in there. I mean how hard can it be to hunt someplace as beautiful as that island in the Pacific, with the biggest obstacle being faced, the bride and she was apparently a pushover...lol I really wish my honeymoon memories could have been identical, but mine were good too.(26 yrs married to my trophy wife)
I am sorry! I ramble on.. Old folks, what more do I need to say..lol Oh yeah, good job tawmio!
God bless,Mudd

Very cool. I have hunted many a last hour with a tag and never had the luck of filling it so far. Still hoping for the 11 1/2 shot...
