WOW! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN MICHIGAN... PICS COMING SOON!

I have so many folks to thank for making such a great event. First all that showed up early to shovel snow, set up tables, set up straw bales for targets.... To all that donated raffle items and took the time to build custom quivers, turkey calls etc. To the vendors ..Braveheart, St Joe River bows, Firefly bows, and Two tracks bows... thank you all for showing up and donating your time and talents. And to everyone that traveled from a long distance in our rough michigan economy... All of you michigan folks make this event what it is.  We definitely pushed 60 hunters this year and i think it was our largest turn out yet ! Most all folks saw at least a few rabbits , but the rabbits all managed to escape this year..   :clapper:

Well, I just got back from one of the best days I have had hunting this year. I had forgotten how much fun it is to chase bunnies with a longbow and wood arrows.
I also had no idea ( I should get on here more often) how many of you got together to pull this off and the good work that everyone did today.  I saw many good friends today that I am very proud of.
Roger Norris and the guys with the beagles thanks for dragging me along and sharing with me  a fantastic afternoon in the woods.
 You all are wonderful!

What a great day!! Steve, I can't thank you enough for organizing this event. GREAT job!!

John, I'm so glad you came up, it was nice seeeing you relax and fun rather than work your tail off at an event.

Mike Goodwins beagles, Gunner and Duke taught my young Daisy quite a bit. What an awesome group of guys!

Roger...i wasnt sure what time you left....but, later in the day the snow had warmed up and the scent was really sticking good....mikes dogs were really hammering down on bunnies late in the day....and the bunnies were just toying with the beagles.... thanks again for your support and bringing the pup.

Great day indeed...most groups saw rabbits, but the crunchy snow kept them out in front a ways.

Good food, fun at the iron bunny, great friends, all for a great cause.

Thanks for all the raffle table donations even though Tim and Kevin CLEANED UP, LOL!

Doug congrats on the new bow, and thanks to Chuck for the donation. I gotta order one of those, soon!

Kevin congrats on the new bow, too! Mr. Jones thanks for the donation, I hope you can glue up some scraps for Kevin, LOL!

I'll get a story written up for the local mags.
