A better forum; why did I wait so long?
« on: December 09, 2009, 09:46:00 AM »
Hi guys! I have been reading posts here for years, as a "ghost", never registered or posted here until yesterday. I was on the *********** and enjoyed the company on that forum for some time, and appreciated all the knowledge I gained there from fellow shooters until the members of the "Taliban" took over as moderators...LOL! Too many self imposed archery gods over there, with no sense of humor and very narrow perspectives on morality and life. But that is another story...

Anyhow, I'm happy to join this forum! I hope that there are a few *********** guys (and gals)on here as well, as most of the folks on there are nice and fun to communicate with, even if we don't always agree on all aspects of shooting/hunting. It was like an online hunting camp, until the Morality police took over!

Anyhow, I'm happy to join this forum of yours. It is an honor to participate in a red blooded, American Traditional Archery forum that posts storys by the late Jack Howard!    ;)    And, I promise not to post any pics of attractive young ladys shooting archery equipment, unless they are wearing Burkas!

Joining the Trad Gang is THE smartest thing I have done recently, aside from buying Fred Bear's DVD collection on sale from 3Rivers!

Welcome to the camp fire. Pull up a log and enjoy the read. Pitch in when it suits.I'm sure we have something to learn form you just as you will pick up a tip or two from the folks with a great knowledge base on here. I wouldn't hold your breath for any wisdom coming from anyone called Mudd though..lol
I believe there's room and reason for more than one forum, it's just so nice being part the one that IS number UNO! IMHO

God bless,Mudd

Every site adjusts to the mindset of the Chief who ultimately calls the shots. Like me, he's an avid hunter so there's my bias already. Disagreements are few & more respectful. See for yourself. Welcome.

Welcome to TG!  I'll share my opinion with you as soon as I can figure out to whom I last gave it.  I'll see if I can get it back and pass it our way!    ;)    :scared:    :biglaugh:

Welcome aboard. I too used to frequent the wall, but grew weary of the insults and narrow mindedness of some members. We often disagree here, but it is done amicably and respectfully. If not, the mods take care of it, which I appreciate. I have met many fine folks here, and this is where I'll stay.

This is a great place to learn, teach, or just have a visit with some friends. Hope you enjoy it!
