You didn't include doe bleats.  In my area with low deer numbers I always start with that.  Then I do a combo, so the few deer I have called in mIght have responded to any of them.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

From my own experiences this year I may as well have stood up in my stand shouting 'Here Deerey-deerey-deer!!!' at the top of my voice. Seems it would've been about as effective as anything else I've tried.

Feeder sound, fawn blats, blets, snort wheeze, tree racking and crunching on acorns. all sounds you don't have in your list, but have seen them all work.

Depending on the time or the year would be to which one works the best.

I rattled in four bucks this year...all dinks! Both my son and I had the best luck this year with doe bleats from a can call. I've called in both bucks and does with it. I've also done that with buck grunts though too. Overall, though, the can call probably works most often.

I have had good luck with the can call, and rattling.  I never have had any luck with a grunt.
What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

I think the most important part of calling in bucks is waiting until the timeing is right and making sure they can't get down wind of you.  I like to have an open field or open woods behind me or a creek behind me.  I think they like to stay close to the thick stuff in my experience anyway.  I think the rattleing reaches farther so more deer are likely to hear it.

I have had good success getting bucks with 100yds while rattling, but never got one within bow range.

Grunts and the can calls have been equally effective for me bringing them in close enough for a shot.

Once you put your bow on the rope and lower it, you will see that buck you were waiting on.

Or better yet, hike out with a doe on your back after punching an either-sex tag, and you will see a few good bucks!
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

Down here in Alabama i have NEVER been able to call a deer up. On my out of state hunts to Ill. and Ohio the deer respond very well to grunt calls.

The best thing where i hunt in south Alabama is the sound of acorns falling. Sometimes i will pick up acorns around our cabin because there are thousands laying around and while in my stand if i see a deer out of range i will toss several hand full of acorns out of my stand.

This method has worked more than once over the years.

I've had both work during rut, it's really cool to see a buck come in like your pulling him on a chain after rattling at him.  Bleats work early on before rut as well however, so since you ask Most Effective, I guess bleet, a doe will check it out more often than not from what I've seen.
