Oregon Blacktail x3
« on: December 12, 2009, 11:28:00 PM »
Stan and Tree Killer are friends of mine so I had to hunt really hard to find a slightly smaller buck..  :bigsmyl:

I was watching a trail  from timber into a clear cut unit that I had seen a bruiser buck the night before...I didn't see the bruiser, but this guy will do just fine...  :archer:

He came along just at dark..

Pretty buck. Should be very good eating. Are you saving that cape even if you do not have it mounted? beautiful throat patch.
Curious about your bow, it looks like a Wing Gull.
Now I bet you fall asleep at night with visions of sheds dancing in your head.

Trust me Bill, Stan and I were pulling for ya to get that BIG 3pt you've had your eye on this fall.

Nicely done...   :notworthy:

Ahh, the 'BIG THREE'..

 Well,theres always next year...   ;)

Jim,

Thats my early 70's Grizzly...I started out using it out of my treestands and the more I shot it the more I liked it...The arrows seem to have a uncanny ability to go where I look..

Weird...

Right on, Bill!  Nice buck.  Did you get him out of a treestand?  Taking it with the ol' Grizzly is pretty cool too.

Hope you can find a shed from the BIG 3pt.  That is an insanely large buck. Once again, nicely done.

Stan
