Paul Schafer Book
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:28:00 AM »
There were rumors a book was being drafted about Paul Schafer...I seem to recall it was being written by Bob Windauer (the father of Dave who runs Schafer Bows). Has anybody heard anymore about it? I hope it's true and forthcoming!!!

Bob,
I spoke to Dave & Beth before Christmas. He told me his Father is still working on the book.

Paul was a man of very few words. I only spoke with him several times, but feel very privileged to have done so. A book on this guy is tops on my want list.

Here I thought you were referring to Paul Schaefer's "Book Adirondack Cabin Country".

Ladies and Gentelman.. There has been an update on the Paul Schafer book. I spoke to Bob over the weekend and he wanted me to pass along an update on the much anticipated release of the Paul Schafer book.

The Paul Schafer book that has been carefully crafted by Bob Windauer is close to being finished. The text is done and Bob is working diligently on the cover along with other images that are being integrated throughout the book. Bob gave me the green light to share this update just this morning and I can tell you the Schafer book will be well worth the wait. I have had the opportunity to read through it, it's truly an amazing read. Bob has done an amazing job writing this book, stand by for a release date!
