I like the look of that one as well as any I've seen! I really like that burnt sketch! Great stuff and something to be very proud of indeed!

I'd like to try the woodburning on mine but I'm thinking it would be difficult to keep the lines the same size. I'm starting my armguard today.

stumpsniper ... wood burning anything isn't easy because there's no eraser, but there are some ways to make it easier.
whatever the pic is you want to put onto the leather draw it in pencil first on paper. next go over it a few times so that the lead/ penicl material wil be dark and built up. cut it out so it's smaller but leave an decent edge around the out side. take the piece of leather bfore you dye it(if your going to) flip the scetch so the pic is face down on the leather. then scribble the back side of the sketch to transfer the image. note that the image you want will be flipped, so if you have and eagle you want to face the hand side of the armguard you will need the pic to be facing the oppiste way, i.e. the elbow side. then you'll have the pic in pencil on the leather. it may not be perfect, but you'll have the size and basic shape making it alot easier to start burning. go slow because there's no way to erase it
, good luck

Outstanding work! You could do quivers, too, and have yourself a fine sideline.
