Bowhunting Reflections is truly an awesome dvd.  The videography is spectacular.

This is unlike most hunting videos where the hunters are nothing but shills for the products they are endorsing.

In addition, it is a video where you can actaully learn something valuable from two distinguished bowyers and bowhunters that have contributed so much to the sport, not to mention that the fact that they are great shots.  Together they have over 100 years of bowhunting experience.

To me, Fred Anderson is one of the grand gentlemen of this sport and I am grateful to have one of his bows and had spoken to him several times at Denton Hill or on the telephone.

Bravo Steve, it is a video that I'll watch over and over.

Just placed my order as well.  Can't wait, as it seems like an excellent trad hunting film!

The best in my collection,, by far!  Steve told me they are working on a 2nd DVD at this time.. Should be out next summer.

Put me on the list for the next "reflection" DVD.

The first thing that came to my mind when I watched the dvd, it's very similar to Primal Dreams and not as good. IMO

Charles Barkley once said in a interview I am not a role model and I don't want to be a role model. The only problem with that is it is the child chooses who his role model is not the basket ball player. You as a Archer or Bowhunter are role models. Trust me there kids looking up to you aspiring to be like you. They would love to talk to you, or be taught by you. On this Christmas day a great resolution would be to invite a child to participate in any out door activity. Then tell them the true meaning of Christmas How God sent his Son to go to the cross out of love for us so that one day we will be with Him forever. If you want him to become a bowhunter let him view Primal Dreams. Keep your feathers dry.

Day Dreamer, That is a nice compliment comparing Bowhunting Reflections with Primal Dreams. Primal Dreams is one of the best video's out there.  Thank you.

Thoughtful post from you 52Mag...and so true.

I gave a couple copies of Bowhunting Reflections to friends for Christmas even though they are not bowhunters.

After viewing it, they replied with comments like, "Wow! Great movie...sure not like what I see on those hunting shows."

Steve and the boys did good on this one, huh?  :clapper:

It's nice to see a discussion about the true meaning of Christmas on a bowhunting site.  It makes one proud to be an archer.

Somehow i missed this thread back in December.  i had the pleasure of meeting Steve thru this site a few weeks ago.  To make a long story short, he wanted my mailing address to send me a bow brochure from Cascade Archery.  i got the brochure but he also included free of charge a copy of "Bowhunting Reflections".  i just got thru watching it and it gets two   !  It is so much more than just a video about taking animals with traditional equipment.
i hope you don't mind Steve, but this copy will be donated to the St Jude's Auction!

Took some great video of Angelo ( Bison Packs) hunting antelope in Wyoming this past September. Also took some good footage of Angelo stalking a mule deer. The hunt with his good friend Rob and Denny Behn was as good as it gets. The four of us took 9 bucks two good mule deer.
