Anything to provide more protection for the users is great for the site. Another suggestion would be a feedback system. Thanks Admin.mods You are doing a good job.

Don't know what I can add that has not already been said but a very big THANK YOU to all the folks that make this place possible. My appreciation for this site and it's fraternity is extremely large.

Am too new to add much on the subject, but the wealth of info on this site has been invaluable to me. Do whatever you must to keep the mojo that makes this site so useful and unique. New rules won't really affect me....I only want to buy.  I never give up my gear, my gear gives up on me!!

Any time you buy on an internet classified ad, there is risk and people should understand that and not blame the site.  Thanks for all your hard work and hope it isn't too much heartache.

Thanks for everything!  I must admit I love the classifieds (all transactions have gone smoothly), they have allowed me to shoot a good variety of bows and buy some nice gear that I would have never bought at "new" prices.  I also like to just look at the pics of different bows listed.  That being said the rest of the site is great as well.  A place to tell stories, share successes, read stories, gain info on anything trad.  I appreciate it all.

Very well stated Rob.  I visit Trad Gang for reasons far above the classifieds, and would continue coming here long after they were gone if ever came to that.

That being said, the classifieds are one of my favorite parts of TG as they help highlight what I like most about this site, the outstanding people here!  (well and the fact that there is alot of great stuff there!!)

Although there are those bad apples, as Whip said, if I were to have a bad dealing here it would NOT be due to anything the mods did or did not do.  You have time and again taken steps to protect TG's members in more ways then just the classifieds.

Many THANKS to you guys for the amount of effort you put into this site, it truly shows!!

I can't add much that already hasn't been said. I too have made purchases from the classifieds in the past and would not hesitate to do so again. Although I would use care. All past dealings  with people here have been great.
Now I find that I rarely look at the classifieds. This site is so much more!!! The only site that I frequent. I would also be willing to pay for membership if I had to.Besides the entertainment, there is a wealth of knowledge here and people are willing to share it.My personal favorite and the forum that I can't get away from is the Bowyers Bench. What a wonderful addition to Trad-Gang!!
My thanks to the admin & mods for all that you guys do.ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK AND EFFORTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED AND KEEP THIS SITE #1.
Take care,
         Ed      :clapper:

Thanks for all the time and effort everyone puts into this site.  It's been a tremendous help to me as I started down the traditional path especially since I don't have anyone close by to help me with the learning curve.  I don't post much because I don't feel like I can contribute much at this stage, but enjoy reading all the threads and learning from others.  Merry Christmas All!

I to need to offer up thanks.
I've learned more here in the last several months than in the last five years of shooting trad.
And I have to agree with White Oak, that bowyers has got me hooked!
Thanks to all for a great place to go.

:clapper:  Thanks Moderators for the work you do to maintain such a great site!  I work in the IT field and know that the work required to maintain and police this site is enormous.  I have been a member since 2005 (mostly lurking and learning) and have learned much through the guys on this forum.  There is much knowledge here.  Also, I have benefited with great transactions with multiple sponsors as well as members over the past few years.  Thanks again for the work you do to keep this site what it is.........

Sincerely,
Mark

To Terry, Rob and the rest of the great mods and admins. God Bless You. I have been a member for several years and have benefited from this site greatly. Lots of sound advice and fellowship. Many, many friends made and some of them met in person on trad only hunts and such. This place has changed my life. Thank you all for all you do and I for one will be willing to help in any way I can.

Probably 5% of my activity here is trading or buying. Just because it is 'here' does not mean it is safe-do your homework-make sure the seller or buyer is a long term member and frequent poster, make sure his address is listed in a directory, and make sure that person really is who they say they are. And don't ship until the money is in your hands.
Ask them for a telephone number and compare it to what you find listed. The onus for a clean transaction should be on us, not this site or the mods.

Though I am a fairly new member here, it did not take long for me to realize what a great community this is!

And while i still may not realize the full extent of work and dedication the crew here puts in, this is a place where I will hang out to socialize and learn all I can about archery, and perhaps get to share my knowledge one time!

For this, I do not ONLY thank the staff, but also Tradgangs devoted followers!

Thank you all/Tusen takk

Thanks mods, this site is much appreciated.....especially more so coming from a country where our passion is banned.

   bought my bear td from the classifieds here and had two great deals.

Rob, Terry, and all mods,

This is my home away from home. Without this site I would be a lost soul. Yes I use the classifieds for both selling and buying and have always had good dealings. Having to register to use the classifieds is an easy thing and a good idea. Keep up the good work and thank you for your time and hard work.

I have had the pleasure of getting a good deal or two through the classifieds here myself but I would still visit this site daily if there were no classifieds.  As many of the others have stated as much as I appreciate and enjoy the classifieds I come here for the other reasons.

As for the administration and moderators on this site, I can only imagine how much trouble you guys go through to provide this site to us for free none the less.  I don't think you could pay for a site this good.  In a word, thanks.   :notworthy:
