Anybody use the AMS bracket with a Kwikee Quiver?
« on: April 12, 2007, 04:05:00 PM »
I was looking at the AMS traditional attachment last night, the one to mount a retriever on a stick bow, and it dawned on me that the Kwikee bracket would fit on it.  I plan on trying it out because I have two bows that arent drilled for a quiver and just so happen to have a couple of Kwikee's laying around.  Didn't know if anyone else has tried this.  I hope it works!

Where can I find info on this bracket ? I've been looking for a way to mount a Kwikee on my Bob Lee without drilling any holes.

3 Rivers carries them as does the Nocking Poing (both Tradgang sponsors).  You should be able to search the 3 Rivers website and find a picture.  Basically it straps to your bow with rubber straps similar to the Great Northern gadget adapter but it is drilled to fit a retriever or in this case the Kwikee bracket.  It also has the large diameter threaded hole for a string tracker or conventional reel mount.  Pretty neat but kinda pricey....around $25.
