Larry, I'm hoping to make it out with the gang at least once this year. I'll be doing alot of walking since it's been a LONG time since I shot a bow. I see the doctor on Monday - hopefully he'll give me the OK to start shooting again.

Larry, when is this hunt? Are you sure that there are deer in New Jersey? I'm interested to find out, never hunted there before.

Sal, bears should be sleeping by now. Along with the Ticks.          :saywhat:        It snowed here yesterday into the night. We have 6 to 8"'s of snow on the ground Bud. Do you miss it?        :goldtooth:            :biglaugh:    If there's anyone interested do a Google Satellite of Deleware National Recreation Area or Sandyston Township N.J. and/or  Walpack. That will give you an idea of the Area we usually Drive. From where the Flatbrook goes into the Deleware to the Milford Bridge Rt 206. New Jersey is broken into Hunting  Zones. New Jersey Winter Bow in some zones we can hunt into the second week of February. By that time it's starting to get down right balmy again.

Adirondackman we still have deer in jersey it's just easier to use the car on them then the bow. When you use the bow they magically disappear.I see more deer on my way to where I hunt then when I'm in my stand...LOL

Let me know the dates. I would like to help you guys drive that one deer  :biglaugh:  that beds down in that area. Hopefully he doesn't swim the river and end up back in Pa.

We have tons of deer in jersey,it's not our fault people mistake them for foxes, being around the same size and all...LOL

Yes and NO... Way to much snow for me now adays... I do like it for hunting, but 1 or 2" is just fine for me. Anymore then that it is too much.
