Ribbed Tab
« on: April 12, 2007, 07:46:00 PM »
I am not sure of where I should post this question but I'll try it here.  Does anyone know where I can get a ribbed tab?  I think NEET used to make them.  The face of them were plastic and they had a bunch of little ribs running the length of it.  The idea being that the ribs provided less string contact which made for a quicker, cleaner release.  I used to use them when I shot my compound but I haven't seen them in years.  I picked up between 8 and 10 points per game when I used them years ago.  They are hard to break in though.  Thanks for any help.

I used to have one-it was definitely a NEET product. FWIW I found the Saunders Fab Tab(still around as the Pak Tab) to be superior.

I didn't like the Fab Tab when I tried it.  I couldn't get it to break in and it didn't seem as slick as the ribbed tab.

check the famous auction site and type in tab, especially in the "stores" portion...you get lots of "old" stuff that pops up real cheap when looking for tabs...

The Neet Co. is still in business. They are located in Sedalia Mo.

If you can't find them I have a new right hand size large I don't plan to use.

Get a hold of Neet themselves. They will let you know where to get them. That is the only tab I have used in the last 25 yrs. When I find some I generally buy them.

I looked on Neet's Website but I don't see that tab anymore.
Macbow:
I'll take that tab off your hands.  Send me an email at: [email protected] and give me the details.  Thanks.

looks like BSS has the Neet ribbed tabs again. Anybody recommending these?
