Bear, Red Wing bow ID
« on: December 20, 2009, 01:11:00 PM »
I've got 3 bows I'm hoping to find out the manufacture date/year on.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bear Grizzly - serial #6P1059 (or 6P1659-hard to read)
Bear Grizzly - serial #8R12
Red Wing Hunter - serial #R3416

Thanks, Troy Burns

While I'm at it, I'll go ahead and see if anyone can help me out with identifying the wood in each one as well.

I'm no expert, but based on information I have researched your Red Wing Hunter is from 1963 and the wood is definitely Brazilian Rosewood.
