2nd turkey down

Got this hen yesterday w/ my 52" Rocky Mtn
recurve.Cedar arrow at 18yds did the trick.

Wasn't that cold, got up to around 40 degrees.

BALMY! When I was out there in the '70's it never seemed to get up to -10 this time of year!

Nice Bird!  Those little bows kill me!  I guess if I didn't have gorilla arms w/ skint up knuckles I could shoot a short bow.

It was -29 last week when I woke up!!! Highs for the day were -3 for most of last week. A little early for that kind of cold.

since ive started shooting trad gear ive wanted a turkey. missed a few but it was more fun missing with trad gear than killing with a compound!!! congrats on that pretty bird
