New bowhunter in the family
« on: December 21, 2009, 05:21:00 PM »
This little guy is our first. I nearly cried when I found out that he was a boy and hopefully will be hunting with me in the future. I hope this isn't off topic, I am just excited to be a new father but, I am getting no sleep at night! Blake Parry  7lbs 4oz @ 19 1/2 inches.

Congrats!  You now have a way of measuring time in your life.  Nothing like the birth of a child...in a blink he'll be tagging along with you, then taking his own first animal, playing football, etc.  You'll measure time in years now rather than minutes and hours as that is what the years will feel like.
Enjoy the ride as there is no other like it.

Congradulations on a beautiful little bowhunter you have there.                               May the Great Spirit always bless him.

congrats!  I have 2 boys 8 and 9 and remember that stage like it was yesterday.

They went on their first hunting trip with me this year and now all they talk about is hunting.  I think I've set the hook deep!

Enjoy him and they grow up fast!
