First off, Thank a soldier!

Second, join a local archery club and shoot MORE, MORE, MORE, as well as get my son involved with the same. Maybe even my wonderful wife.

Third, I am aggresively seeking a couple of guys to go on a hog hunt in the mountains of NC before the season ends on Feb. 28th

Four, Just get in the woods more, with my family! Latter being the key!

Five, rinse and repeat as neccessary to maintain sainity!
Noli rogare pro onia pauciora, rogate pro scapulas latiores.

I go afield with bent wood, stick and string in search of serenity  through my primal quest.

Far Rider,

Not trying to hijack this thread but I've been trying to get a couple guys to do a hog hunt. I'm willing to join if you can't find anyone else to go. I've never been on a hog hunt but am ready to try it. Let me know.

Plan on building a bow quiver for my motorcycle so I can take my bow with me on my trips this summer. If any of you have any great ideas let me know.

Finishing up a garage which should actually help my outdoor pursuits immensely.

Traveling to Montana to present to the MT Trad Bowhunters in January.  Threw my name in the hat to run for officer of NE Bowh. Assn. (fear we will face some tough issues soon and want to be there to help; was president of the same back in late '80s).  Hoping to make my first PBS Banquet in late March.

Shed antlers and turkeys in spring (emphasis on the former) here in NE, hopefully several shoots and lots of camping/fishing with daughters in summer, and then in the fall good chance it will just be NE deer.  My daughters are at the age when I just don't want to be gone any more than I have to be and the NR hunts my have to be put on hold for a few years.  At least until the girls are older and don't want to talk to me anymore.   :)

Develop our 46 acres of flood plain/woods into a great hunting/fishing spot. Creek crossings, trails, stands, shack(on stilts) etc. Almost to thick to hunt so should be fun "Carving" it out.
Elk hunt maybe Montana(draw with 1 point now) and try and Hunt OTC in Colorado again.
Attend as many trad 3-d shoots as I can so they keep having them.
Continue to improve right handed so I can bust a deer one of these seasons.
   Get more fit.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!
