I almost never ask for anything; traditionally our gift buying involves mostly buying for our kids. Besides, my wife always says that I have everything I need or want - hunting wise, so she doesn't know what to get me.  This year she did manage to surprise me with a copy of Dick Lattimer's book "Hunt with Fred Bear".  There's also a rumour circulating that my daughter is giving me the entire Fred Bear DVD collection!

God sent me his Son, gave me my family, and healed me from my illness. Plus, among many other blessings, I will be spending New Year's Day at the Solana Ranch with a bunch of wonderful TradGangers. It doesn't get any better than that! Praise God and Christ our Savior. God bless all of you this Christmas Day. Remember the reason for the season.   :clapper:

In the family gift exchange yesterday my cousin got me Buckskin and Bone by Gene Wensel.  I was pretty happy!!

Santa couldn't afford stuff for me this year, but my 18month old daughter got some nice stuff from him!

It's ok Jason! I think it's great that your 3 yr old is on your lap helping you out on Christmas morning. What part of Missouri are you from?

I stopped getting gifts when I had kids now Santa throws up a toy store in my living room and I get the joy of putting it all together.

Boy, White Oak, can I relate to your situation.  I spotted a light draw Hill for sale last night and just had no interest in it!  Guess I've crossed over to builder rather than buyer.

As to Christmas, I just completed my first take down hinged longbow and then early this week converted another.  My Christmas was a "coupon" from my wife, good for buying five more hinges.  Should keep me having lots of fun next year!
