Christmas Day Stumping in Florida
« on: December 25, 2009, 07:49:00 PM »
So nice to finally get back to Fl. after not getting down for about 5yrs. The trip started out as just a trip with the family to the in-laws for the holidays.

But now it's turned into much more.

Tomorrow I have the priveledge of meeting Don Davis (alligatordond on TG) for a half day  tomorrow and half day Sunday hunt. Then priveledged once again to share new years weekend with Marty and Biggie at Marty's place!

Who's a luckier guy than me?!!!!!!!!

A great place to walk and shoot....

Target of opportunity...just over the crushed part from about 20yds....

Messing with the burst mode on the camera....
Just before I hit anchor....

Just after release....

Follow-thru.....

Yes, Curt, you are a LUCKY guy!  Blowing hard with snow here.  Shorts and a t-shirt man; that just ain't right.

Great pics.  Take some of your hunting for us.  I'll bet you don't miss any of the snow you left at home.. LOL

Happy to be in shorts and T-shirt....

Random shots....about 35yds....

About 25yds....

Best shot of the day...notice the light "scar" on the near side toward the back...skipped off and carried on a little....about 45yds.....I stopped after this one....figured I'd quit while I was ahead.....

I'll have an update after my day with the "gator"....should have plenty of pix, hopefully some with bloody arrows and a hog or two

Wow! Christmas in Florida. Looks cold and miserable.   :D

You have a well deserved vacation. Sounds like a great time. Enjoy. Stop by on the way home.

Brent, I'd luv to bud, but I'm afraid we'll probably be in "full speed ahead" mode as I'm already extending our vaca so I can spend the long weekend with Marty and Biggie....but we'll see....

No vanes for this guy....just regular old feathers....

Don, I'll try to call on my way to Don D's place, I'll have some time to talk while driving....hands free of course
